Phil is the programmer in the Turbo Pixel team. He has worked professionally in the games industry since 2004 and shipped over a dozen projects on a huge number of platforms including Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo WiiU, Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PC Windows and iOS. He has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer, delivering products across Windows, Linux and OSX.
Phil’s work on Reflex includes all the back-end systems (i.e. Physics, Rendering, Netcode, Lua Integration, Asset Compilers, Steam Integration, Sound and the Dedicated Server). Phil has also been responsible for all the game-code and the UI scripts which form the game's front-end.
Ben is the Lead Technical Artist with over 10 years of experience in the game industry as a Level Designer, Environment Artist, Lighting Artist and Technical Artist (shader writing, effects and pipeline assisting tools) on platforms including Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Xbox, PSP, Nintendo Wii and PC. He has worked with IPs and studios including: Sega, Lucas Arts, Warner Brothers, Activision, Konami and more.
Ben’s work on Reflex spans across several departments including: Environment Art, Particle effects, Shader programming, Character Art, Weapon Art, Lighting, Tools scripting, Sound and whatever else needs to get done.
Benny is the lead artist and has been a 3D Artist in the Australian Games Industry for over 9 years. He has worked with major publishers such as Sega, Lucas Arts, Warner Brothers, Activision and more at the following studios: Krome, KMM Games and Sega Studios Australia. During that time he has worked within all art departments individually (characters/environments/props) amassing the skill-sets required for each discipline. This resulted in spending the majority of his career working across all art departments simultaneously, adapting to the needs of each project as necessary. To date this has spanned 10 shipped titles, covering a wide variety of art styles, technical limitations and platforms.
Benny’s work on Reflex covers all art departments including: Environment Art, Character Art, Weapon Art, Marketing and anything else needed.
Thanh is the administrator and social media manager. She has a background in maths and computer science and has over 14 years of experience in retail, customer service and support.
Thanh manages all non development work for Turbo Pixel, but she does help with support and feedback for the guys every now and then. She helps moderate the online community forums with the devs and manage the social media accounts.
